How to Set Up a Printer to Print From a Wireless Router
Ethernet cable is more reliable, so whenever, possible choose Ethernet cable and use a cable that reaches longer distances and great performance.
After selecting the cable, plug the one end of the Ethernet cable or USB cable into the printer and connect the other end into the port on the back of the wireless router.
Plug the printer into a nearby wall outlet using the supplied power cable.
Some routers do not support USB connections, but most of the routers have an extra Ethernet port.
Turn on the printer and wait for some minutes.
After that, select the "Start" button and then click on "Devices and Printers."
Then click "Add a Printer."
Lastly, select "Add a Network" Wireless or Bluetooth Printer" in the Add Printer window.
